Entryl level jobs for MSc grad

(OP)
I recently finished my MSc in Petroleum engr with very good grades from a University in Calgary but for the past 5 months have been unsuccessful in landing any jobs (field or office based). My applications are constantly being rejected online and all the networking I made have not yielded any fruits. Can anyone tell me how to get a job in Canada's oil patch? My bachelors is also in Petroleum engr from my own Country and i have less than a year related working experience. I currently work as a lab tech right now. Any suggestions will be appreciated!
