Grip menu choice help

Grip menu choice help

(OP)
Hey there Gents,
We have a grip program that has been around forever and it works well. It inserts a format into a drawing, fills in text, etc. Well I need to modify this program. There is a hard coded drive and folder that the formats/patterns come from. I need to add a menu choice at the beginning of the program so I can choose a location and then set a particular drive and folder based on location. I just need some ideas or examples to start me off. Thanks CAD peeps.

Attach the source file here and I will look at it. If you don't want to post it, send it to me: looslib<at>usec<dot>com.

If I read what you want, you want to choose a location name and based on that selction, set the drive and folder. Do you also need to select the format for your drawing based on location? I have a lot of GRIP sub-programs that were used in a complex drawing format program at a prior company. The drawing data is all enetered by program as part attributes and then added to the drawing format. Data field entries were checked for length and the user informed if his string would be too longb for what the format had room for.
