CATIA V5 over VPN

CATIA V5 over VPN

I'm having issues using CATIA V5 over VPN.

The license is a floating license that resides on the server, and I keep getting an error message that sasy " No License Available for Requested Configuration(s)." But the connection to the server is confirmed... so I was told the problem is in Catia.

Is there a setting I can change to get this working?
I really appriciate anyone's help on this!

RE: CATIA V5 over VPN

What do you mean by the connection to the server is confirmed? Can you ping its IP address? You might need to make sure that your IP group isn't blocking the port used by the license server.

Thank you for responding garich!
yes, I pinged the IP address.

RE: CATIA V5 over VPN

We have another division that logs in through VPN to extract a license then work local.
Can you use the Lum Basic License tool to see the server and licenses?

RE: CATIA V5 over VPN
