I have brouught up the site described in the attached pdf but I could not find the aricle described in the post Has anyone managed to locate it?

I use LATERAL FOUNDATION program by Soil Stucture. It is based on lateral subgrade modulus/springs & beam on elastic foundation approach. I like it, because I can see the deflection and the induced moment.

I have no idea if this is the article you are looking for, but it does mention piles in the table of contents,
