Ultrasonic Testing for Inclusion Detection

(OP)
Any recommendations regarding choosing the appropriate standard to follow when ultrasonic testing steel, with the intention of detecting inclusions?  The material tested is wrought steel, particulary finished 4140 components.

The ASTM online summaries of various ASTM standards do not allow enough detail to answer this question without outright purchasing a sample of the standards.  Or correct me if I am wrong.

RE: Ultrasonic Testing for Inclusion Detection

ASTM ASME A/SA388 IS WHAT I WOULD RECCOMEND THIS SPEC IS REFRENCED IN API 6A
