thread560-323061: Point contact constraint
Hello,
I want to ask the same question that I previously asked in the referenced thread in case an answer might turn up under new scrutiny:

How is it possible in CATIA V5R20 to constrain a freeform object into a nest of 6 points? Imagine that the nest is composed of 6 spheres and the spheres are positioned in a logical way such that they will all contact the freeform object and properly support and constrain all 6 degrees of freedom when all are in contact. The unknown element is the exact X,Y,Z coordinates of the points of contact; I know the object will touch all spheres somewhere but I don't know exactly where. How can I position the object through assembly constraints, or other means, into the nest so that I can determine the exact contact points?

Thanks for any help!
