I have been using the free 2D DraftSight for sometime now.
When I place Greek characters in my drawings they only appear on the screen. They do NOT appear in my printed copy.
Any ideas pleae.

RE: Disappearance of Greek symbols

What font are you using?
Have you tried using characters from a different font?

Re: Disappearance of Greek symbols
Thanks CorblimeyLimey for your prompt reply.

I tried several fonts including Cambria Maths and Complex.
As an example I am trying to print the Unicode characters:-
U+03BC and U+03B4
but, to no avail.

Actually I am trying to save some 50yr old drawings of a project I worked on a long time ago.
I suppose I could use AutoCAD 2007, of which I have a copy, but my friend in UK, for whom I am trying to save these dwgs only has the free DraftSight package.
