ANSYS 13.0 - plotting load-deflection curve for clamped beam

ANSYS 13.0 - plotting load-deflection curve for clamped beam

(OP)
Hi,

I'm using ANSYS v.13.0 workbench static structural and wish to plot the load-midpoint deflection curve for a uniformly loaded clamped steel beam. The load input is ramped - do I require to run a simulation at different load steps to find a maximum deflection then plot results from each simulation to plot my load-deflection curve or is there a way around doing this?

Any advise on procedures for constructing a load-deflection curve would be useful.

Many thanks
Omar
