Is there any standard or best practices stated that we must first energize the upstream system then the downstream system.
example : for a transformer (150kV / 6 kV) feed a 6 kV Busbar. The busbar feed 3 Dry transformers (6kV/400V). We must first energize the 150kV Transformer, then busbar, and the last one to energize is dry transformer.

Well, if it is a radial system you can't energize it in the opposite order...

I'm not sure what you are trying to get.

Yes it is a radial system. sorry for my english but my point is, Standard Operating Procedure always says that we have to energize (Close CB) on Primary of transformer ( supply side) first then the secondary (load side). is there any standard or recommended practice related to this point. Or we can do the opposite way by connected all the load first then energize the transformer.

No standard that I am aware of, just good engineering practice to energize from source to load and denergize from load to source.

Energizing "smaller" portions at a time is more typical than energizing all of it at once. There are circumstances such as transmission line re-closing that could result in energizing an entire large block of load. Be aware of inrush/cold load pickup if you do energize everything at once. Also, energizing small portions at a time allows you a chance to verify each portion is working correctly.

If the load on the feeder is a substantial portion of the generating capacity it may not be possible to block load the entire load.
