Hi group, please, help me for answer the question bellow
How to propose a procedure to select High voltage cable for underground high voltage cable 115kV?

RE: Transmission Distribution System underground 115kV

It depends. And without a whole lot more information about the application and what you see the issues to be there isn't much more that can be offered.

RE: Transmission Distribution System underground 115kV

Step one: pick one rated for the voltage.

thank you all for helping!
Please, tell me clearly about this propose or handbook's name for this process.
Because I need to finish my assignment near close dateline.

If you have used UG cable before, and the guys remember how to install it, then use that same kind of cable. Other wise you will have a "learning curve".

Our civel engineers have studied the soil conditions to determine the best method to install the cable we use. Our line crew is trained on it, so with the experense we have we likely won't change, even if there is a good price difference.

If you don't have experence, pick one, any one.

You have to calculate precisely the cross section of the shield. The distance between the grounding boxes also depends on the cross section of the shield. Of course you have to see the rated voltage and rated current.

Thank you all! Good luck...!
