Crimp terminal

Crimp terminal

Crimp terminal

(OP)
hi

does anyone know of a crimp terminal that exists, that is at 90 degrees to the spade.

so th cable would be at right angle to the spade part

( if that makes sense )

RE: Crimp terminal

Most I know you can just bend...

RE: Crimp terminal

emmm, that crossed my mind, only thing is, weakening the crimp by doing this ?

RE: Crimp terminal

True it will weaken it but one bend wouldn't be enough to cause any issues. Only repeated bending would cause enough metal fatigue for it to break.

Pretty sure piggy back spade connectors, when manufactured are just straight and then bent to the right angle.

RE: Crimp terminal

Not certain it would affect the crimp, if you locate the bend away from the crimp barrel (i.e. in the flat between crimp barrel and spade opening). To be safe, you could bend the part first (I would clamp into the termainal block you intend to install it in and free-bend to achieve whatever alignment you want), then remove, crimp wire, and re-install.

RE: Crimp terminal

google...flag disconnect
Think that is not the bend direction you were looking for but maybe its better..or not
