Moisture diffusion in hybrid composites with adhesive films

Moisture diffusion in hybrid composites with adhesive films

(OP)
Hello Everyone,

I am doing some literature search on moisture diffusion in hybrid composites (two or more different composite laminates, e.g. GFRP, CFRP) which are bonded by an adhesive film. I wanted to know if moisture diffusion is accelerated/decelerated because of adhesive film.

Can anyone help me with their ideas and some good references

Thanks!

RE: Moisture diffusion in hybrid composites with adhesive films

- this q does not belong in the FE forum
- suggest posting in Composite Engineering forum
- if all of the resins are epoxy, then the adhesive layer probably does not have a significant effect

I am actually looking into FE modeling of moisture diffusion in hybrid composites joined by epoxy based adhesive films.
