Temperature load, beam element

Hi
I want to add a temperature on one face of a BEAM24 element. Does anyone know how to do that?
What do the following mean:

STLOC starting location N ____
VAL1 Temperature at location N ____
VAL2 Temperature at location N+1 _____
Val3 Temperature at location N+2 _____
VAL4 Temperature at location N+3 ______ ????????????????

Thank you!
Bothul

RE: Temperature load, beam element

I'm not sure where the above comes from, but if you're trying to apply known temperatures to a structural model, you may look into the "BF" command, which applies temperatures to nodes.

THanks for the reply. The above "unknowns" are input data for temperature load (nonuniform) on elements. (in APDL)
