Cut & Paste without loosing line weights
I am trying to cut and paste a simple mechanical drawing (for technical training proposes) from Autocad 2000 into PowerPoint. I have tried various methods which work OK except I loose all line weights. The imported information picture/file etc. comes out with very thin lines (hardly visible). Can anyone inform me on how to paste, import or whatever into PowerPoint without loosing line weights?

Thanks,
Ken Dobert

RE: Cut & Paste without loosing line weights

Check out Better WMF from www.furix.com. It will create a Windows Metafile observing lineweight based on color (like plotting), reverse the black background automatically, and crop to a predetermined size.

It is indispensible....

RE: Cut & Paste without loosing line weights

i understand you want to emphasize the drawing which otherwise appear too thinned down. one way could be to increase the line widths to say 0.5 or 1.0 typically in a metric drawing and then export to WMF format.but remember to set the background to white before exporting otherwise you will get surprises.
