Hi Guys,

Think I may have a small gap in my understanding. Basically I have created a 3D space frame in abaqus the shape of a Buckyball, using beam elements. I have meshed the part along the edges using 1 element for each beam. I then edited the inp file to add some internal bracing to the structure by adding additional elements between nodes. I then imported the part using Import>Model>.inpfile

My problem is now in CAE I cannot edit the mesh and check if the new beams are also meshed in the same way or not, the only control I have is using Mesh Edit tool which I don't think contains what I wish to use. Will the mesh also be applied to the new parts or will I have to recreated the geometry completely??

Cheers
Tom
