3D Connexion Navigator and NX8

3D Connexion Navigator and NX8

(OP)
My first post!

I was previously running Inventor 2013 via bootcamp and my navigator mouse was/still is working fine with this.

I've just upgraded to NX8, running natively on mac. I have installed the 3d Connexion drivers but the it doesn't seem to be working at all when running NX. Just wondered if anyone on here has had a similar problem or could suggest a solution?

Cheers,

Rob

RE: 3D Connexion Navigator and NX8

have you tried the 3dconnection demos , which probably followed the install of the driver ?
- I.e ( on windows, i have no experience from Mac's.) When installing the spacemouse driver a few demos will also be installed. Check if the device can run these.

Regards,
Tomas

RE: 3D Connexion Navigator and NX8

I've experienced issues with NX8 and the SpacePilotPro. It worked fine with 7.5, but after upgrading to 8, in the drafting application I encounter errors when trying to update detail and section views. It turns out however that the SpaceNavigator has no issues with NX8. To my knowledge, the issue has not yet been resolved, so I and the other designers/engineers have since been using SpaceNavigators.

Thanks,
Jake

RE: 3D Connexion Navigator and NX8

have you tried going back to an older revision of a Driver. We had to do this for NX7.5 to work correctly with our new win7 64 bit systems.
