Dear Friends,
i have a vibration measuring instrument with accelerometer written
10 pC/ ms-2.... I dont have a shaker table. my Idea is to input sine wave with function generator for calibration purpose. can any body pls give me the detailed information about 10 picocoulombs = how many milli volts.
i need a conversion for picocoulombs to mv convertion.

What IRstuff said. Coulombs are a measure of charge (think number of electrons), Volts are a measure of energy available from that charge, in Joules per Coulomb.

When you plug the accelerometer into a chrge amp you need to know how many mV you get per pC. On a B&K 2635 you dial in pC/g on the input side, and then select mV/g on the output side.

So have a look at your charge amp.
