Nx8.5 leightweight view dimension problems

Nx8.5 leightweight view dimension problems

(OP)
I have problem to add a dimension to a leightweight view from a product outline in a master model drawing.
In previous versions, as far as I remember- not so familar with such sort of productoutline drawings, while dimensioning the part to dimensions was loaded in this process.
In Nx8.5 it doesn't work. I have not used the new leightweight approach. ( not part of the problem). Has there something changed to remember?
thank you in advance

Is it a problem when the productoutline is not part of the next assembly level to the drawing? Is this supported leightweight drawing views ?
regards

RE: Nx8.5 leightweight view dimension problems

You must use the new 'Smart Lightweight' representations. A normal 'lightweight' will not support what you're looking for. That means that the part file must have been saved or refiled into at least an NX 7.5 formatted file with with the new Lightweight representations.
