Open I-DEAS part in NX 7.5 using open i-deas

Hello,

In fact I don't know where to put this thread in NX, or I-DEAS forum. So decided to post it here too. I'm a longtime I-DEAS user and know I'm working also with NX 7.5. I discovered a feature in NX 7.5 that allows you to open I-DEAS parts from the TDM if I-DEAS is running in the same workstation. In your computer environment variables you need to put a command "UGII_INOP_SERVER_HOST" "my pc name and HOST (I can get the "HOST") to activate and order in NX 7.5. Then start I-DEAS, after that start NX 7.5 and in NX 7.5 you should be able to download parts from I-DEAS TDM. It sounds very nice and useful but I've a problem.

As you can see I get it working only in part, NX 7.5 detects my team but can read the projects in it.

I should post it at GTAC forums but now my company webkeys are only used by IT that is outsourced and my GTAC user has expired.

Thanks a lot,

Marc.
