RE: Pitting Inside the pipe

maybe you should look at B31G

Independent events are seldomly independent.

RE: Pitting Inside the pipe

Jacob,
Not enough info.
What is the material ?
What specification was it manufactured to ?
What is the fabrication code you are intending to use it on ?
Cheers,
Kiwi

RE: Pitting Inside the pipe

If it is from a Supplier then send it back - Rejected!!!!

RE: Pitting Inside the pipe

Sounds like whomever you got your pipe from has a extrusion press. Pitting can come from improper heating or not enough pressure when extruding the billet.

here i am asked to check for the reduction in thickness greater tha 12.5%, I doubt in such case how can i go for in such case, if its in a small portion or not scattered.
thanks
Jacob
