Cable Attenuation - CrossTalk

(OP)
dear all,

I have a little question about cable attenuation.
It is required in a cable an attenation (relevant to Crosstalk) value max of -55dB. If it is offered a cable with attenuation max 50dB, does the value offerde is acceptable??

thanx all

any ideas-suggestions????

RE: Cable Attenuation - CrossTalk

First, the Communication and Signal Processing Forum could be suitable.
Second, this cable has to be stranded pairs –as Cat 6?-and it is about ACR of -55Db for 1MHz?
If you would be more specific, I think you could get an answer

RE: Cable Attenuation - CrossTalk

Even better, can you post the manufacturer's data sheet for the proposed cable?

Best to you,

Goober Dave
