Picture added to a sheet format

Picture added to a sheet format

I've got an old drawing with a sketch picture added to a sheet format. Now I need to move that picture to a sheet. When I double click on it to activate and "CTRL+C", and then try to paste it on a sheet, SW copies entire sheet. I cannot even delete that picture. Picture manager allows to resize or rotate a picture, but not to copy it.
Any suggestions?
Thank you,
Boris.

RE: Picture added to a sheet format

Copy the sketch, not the picture itself.

There is no sketch, picture has been added directly to sheet format. It is not even shown on feature tree.

RE: Picture added to a sheet format

Is the sketch in the background and therefore in the drawing sheet format?

RMB on the sheet and select Edit Sheet Format to see if you can then click on the image.

Yes, when I go to sheet format, image is there. Now I need to move it to a Sheet. And that's what I cannot do.

RE: Picture added to a sheet format

While editing the sheet format copy the image then for safety paste it into a Word doc. While this should not be neccessary just in case you can't paste the image you copied you can copy it from word to your new sheet.

I'll try duplicating the setup and solution to your problem with my own example to see if I get the same issue.
