Could anyone please admit me some setting, to avoid Fixed contour and Z-level (with cut between levels) paths like in the attached images:
Thank in advance.

7.5.X.X

I thought I was the only one getting paths like these.

Surely the underlying tesselation has the most effect on the toolpath that is generated (tesselation of which we never get to see).

I guess my first question is, "Do the developers at Siemens consider this a good toolpath?".

To the Toolmaker, your nice little cartoon drawing of your glass looks cool, but your solid model sucks. Do you want me to fix it, or are you going to take all week to get it back to me so I can get some work done?

I found an old topic in the GTAC forum, that they suggest to use zig-zag in this case. But now it is 2013...I am on 8.0.3.4. When I started to use UGv18, the problem was the same.
In powermill you can generate boundary curves (limiting steep areas), and you can smooth its segments to archieve a correct path. Is it possible in NX to generate a curve like that?
