(OP)
Morning to all,

I am new to this forum and have a question regarding the stress value of a pressure vessel fabricated to the 1954 Sec. VIII Div. I requirements. I am looking for the stress values for a 285-C material. The design temperature is 105 Deg. F. Any help with this matter would be most appreciated. Thanks in advance for any help and have a great day.

RE: 1954 ASME Sec. VIII Div. I Stress Values

The 1952/54a ASME Section VIII Unfired Pressure Vessel Code (technically not Div 1 because it was, in fact the only "Division" at the time) listed A285 Gr. C to have an allowable stress from -20 to 650 F as 13750 psi.
