Disabling The preview window?

Disabling The preview window?

Disabling The preview window?

(OP)
Is there a way to disable the preview window in the file open? We are running a 4 tier system at a different location with limited internet speeds and that image is taking some time to display while clicking through the parts, assembly and or drawings to open. (a few second delay per pick) If not, can the image size be reduced? Thanks for the feedback

RE: Disabling The preview window?

What version are you using? In NX8, there's a preview toggle you can turn off before selecting any files.
If you want to change the settings, go to Customer Defaults-->Gateway-->General.

Sorry Running NX7.5 dang I forgot to add that my fault. Thanks for the feedback Going to look for this in NX7.5

RE: Disabling The preview window?

yep it's there

What is this setting called? I see Store preview but I do not see an option to turn the preview off?

RE: Disabling The preview window?

Well spotted, sorry. If you turn the preview off in the open file dialog, it remembers the setting for next time (I think!)

RE: Disabling The preview window?

Yes, Dialog Memory will remember that you have toggled OFF the 'Preview' option in the File -> Open dialog and it will remain that way until it's toggled back ON. I would do this instead of disabling the saving of the Preview itself since Previews may be useful in other places but if they're never saved in the first place they will not be there later.
