SACS Post Processor (Redesign)

SACS Post Processor (Redesign)

SACS Post Processor (Redesign)

(OP)
Hello,

I was trying to use the post processor (redesign) option in SACS for a simple frame. When my model contain tubular members the redesign worked fine but when I changed the members to non tubular it gives me a warning "Member Redesign Failed"..

Can anyone explain the reason for those warnings..

Thanks

RE: SACS Post Processor (Redesign)

I asked a collegue of mine who support SACS but he did not know a quick answer. I suggest you log a service ticket on the Bentley web site, and send in the file for a better diagnosis:

Thanks SethGuthrie!!

Really appreciate your response. I could hardly get any response here on SACS. I just started learning SACS, so coming across lot of questions but nowhere to go.
Iam working in a company where the senior guy left & I started using SACS..

Thanks

RE: SACS Post Processor (Redesign)

I try to check this forum regularly, but your best bet for SACS support is really a service ticket. You can view and update your Service Ticket online using the Service Ticket Manager: http://www.bentley.com/serviceticketmanager/.

RE: SACS Post Processor (Redesign)

I agree. Once you have the service ticket login set up, the questions are responded to

Doesnt hurt to post here as well though, some of the replies are interesting to other readers, remember

I have never really used the redesign option in SACS, so would be interested in what you may find, for example!
