Beam thermal mechanical analysis

Beam thermal mechanical analysis

Beam thermal mechanical analysis

(OP)
Hello

Does anyone know how to obtain a beam (wire) with a linear distribution of temperature over the cross-section and analyze it statically?

Thank you
Bothul

RE: Beam thermal mechanical analysis

Hi

I wouldnt say you can do just with a wire, since it seems the transversal directions have some importance in your analysis, so therefore I would suggest you to do it with 3d elements. But would be nice if you find the way to use the wire.

good luck
