Acquisition of alternating current generators

Acquisition of alternating current generators

(OP)
Hello everybody:

For a small hydroelectric power plant it is required to acquire synchronous generators.
The equipment offered by the bidders meets the technical specifications.

Even when I have my own insights, I would like to hear, if possible, some guidelines in order to make the proper decision.
I wonder if is it of capital importance the origin (country of manufacture), manufacturer, technology applied, etc.

Any comments on this subject are welcome.

Hello everybody:

By art of luck, I managed to speak to a specialist Engineer with high level of knowledge on the subject, and has given to me some guidance to achieve the most appropriate decision. Anyway, thanks.
