Intro tutorials or book for new user?

Intro tutorials or book for new user?

Intro tutorials or book for new user?

(OP)
I am a long time CAD user (Catia v4/v5, SolidWorks, Pro/E), but I landed at a company that uses NX6 (soon to upgrade to 7 or 8 I hear). I have not been able to find any good intro level tutorials or books for NX. The few books I found had terrible reviews.

Are there any recommended training materials for an intro level user of NX? I will not be getting formal training at my company since they leave all "official" modeling to the drafting group. I would however like to be able to do my own rough layouts and analysis.

Dear John,
How good is MyIgetit online self Training? In that site all options are explained? and is it possible to print in PDF or Download?
thanks

RE: Intro tutorials or book for new user?

I have no direct experience with 'MyIgetit' although I did know, and even worked with some of the people who started the original company, but that was a long time (and a couple of past owners) ago. That being said I know a lot of people use their services so I'm sure someone here will be able to give you a first-person report on their stuff.
