Calculate NPSHa for VS4 pumps

Calculate NPSHa for VS4 pumps

Calculate NPSHa for VS4 pumps

(OP)
Hi All

Does NPSHa for VS4 pumps calculate as usual as OH2 pumps?

RE: Calculate NPSHa for VS4 pumps

NPSHA = (absolute press above the liquid - vapour Press.)X 10 / S.G + liquid level above the impeller inlet.

RE: Calculate NPSHa for VS4 pumps

More often than not, minimum submergence will be the limiting factor, rather than NPSH.

If you plan to use a VS4 where NPSH is the limiting factor (in an application other than an open sump or a tank) then you might have the wrong pump type.
