Dranetz PX5 Metering Question

Dranetz PX5 Metering Question

Dranetz PX5 Metering Question

(OP)
I have a customer that I am performing a load survey for. The purpose of this survey is to see how much current a three phase 400A feeder is drawing for one week. My customer would like to add load to this particular feeder. I received the data and noticed the min, max, and average data are very different. There are a lot of motor loads in this circuit. I realize there is going to be inrush current for each motor. Is the average RMS current the actual value I should use in my report? The average current was Approx. 180A and Max Current was 356A.

RE: Dranetz PX5 Metering Question

None of the above, what you need is the 15 minute demand current.
