VENTILATORS TYPE PLUG-FAN

(OP)
Now-a-days it's becoming usual those Air-Ventilators plug-fan type axial or semi-axial applied specially in the hygienic AHU's. My question to the Collegues/Forum, if someone knows the applied aerodynamics of those ventilatores, mainly the adequated selection characteristics to be used. Which is the maximal rotation speed to be considered? I'm worried with the high rotation speeds of these equipments being proposed (to become the equipement smaller, I have to judge and to aprove a great quantity of these essential equipments, and I have the resulting high levels of acustic pressure, which must be mitigated. How to select a ventilator plug-fan to avoid its disadvantages, as much possible? Thank you.
