Temperature Dependent Material

Temperature Dependent Material

(OP)
Hi,

I am simulating the thermal expansion of a beam made of a temperature dependent material. I am interested in understanding how the material behaves under different thermal load data points. The problem arises when I try to mkae the coefficient of the thermal expansion a temperature dependent property. When I import the excel file in the Tables & Curves tab after selecting “Thermal Expansion Coeff.in X vs Temperature" and hit Apply, the program returns an error message stating that the saving of the database fails.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Nhamri.
