Punching Shear Software
Punching Shear Software
(OP)
I didn't see anything in the searches that addressed this. I didn't find much on Google either. I know DECON has a studrail design software, but it is pretty limited in what it can do and it really only does new design, not analysis of an existing conditions. Anyone know of a software that will account for varying slab thickness and openings around the column for calculating punching shear, particularly at the end of the studrails? The section properties at the end of the studrails are a bear to calculate once openings and various thicknesses come into play.
Thanks
Thanks

To capture that, you generaly require a quite a accurate model with all the spans around the column joint studied.

Generally, frame equavalent method software such as spSlab only do one direction at a time.

That sounds good since I can't seem to find the time to get one done on my own.
