Cosmetic threads showing through section view

Cosmetic threads showing through section view

Cosmetic threads showing through section view

(OP)
Here is one problem which solution is unknown for me. I alaso can't find threads that would give me proper solution.
I have radial placed threaded hole which is then multiplied with circular pattern. On drawing I create section to show the dimension of the hole and I also get other cosmetic thread annotations which are located behind the section (shown with arrows in attached file). Does anybody know how to get rid of these cosmetic thread annotations? I don't know why SW development thinks they sholud be there anyhow...

RE: Cosmetic threads showing through section view

The "work-around" we have found is to:
1. Go to model
2. Edit tap
3. Uncheck the "cosmetic thread" option.
4. Go back into drawing - reload
5. Go back to model
6. Edit tap
7. Re-check the "cosmetic thread" option
8. Go back to drawing - reload
UGH! I don't know why, but it works for us.

RE: Cosmetic threads showing through section view

I assume a Ctrl+Q doesn't fix the problem?

Often changing the Cosmetic Thread Display option from Draft Quality to High Quality (or vice versa) does the trick.

What graphics card, driver, SW version, OS and brand of computer are you using?
