Don't how: I'm looking for a solution in Nx7.5 to fix the rotation point to the screen center when I'm rotating a 3d model in modeling with middle mouse button or 3d device. What must I do ?

RE: fix the rotation point to screen center

1. you can hold down middle mouse button (for a couple seconds) over area which you want as your rotate point.
2. you can also right click on screen and choose "set rotate point" or press cntrl +F2 to get to this option

thanks on reply
yes, I know these interactions,
it's not for me it for my colleague, asked me for a fixed setting, he has to work in different cad/viewer solutions, where has this option on rotation without special interations

RE: fix the rotation point to screen center

Please note that starting with NX 8.5 we've changed the scheme used to define the default rotation point when a model or assembly is displayed on the screen. It will now default to the centroid of the actual object(s) as seen on the display, even when zoomed, either way-out or extremely close-in, and NOT the center of the display itself. While there's still an option to define a fixed rotation point relative to some part of the model, you will probably find that there will now be less of a need to do so, or at least that's what people who have experienced this new behavior has indicated to us.

@John,
the colleague is using Teamcenter Visualisation, you may have a look at it - a Siemens Product is used in processes around Nx, where I think we should have same or similar interactions ( IMHO TC Vis not as nice UI than NX)
