Inspection of internal fillet radius

Inspection of internal fillet radius

Inspection of internal fillet radius

(OP)
Hello everybody.
Please, could someone give me a light about the following issue?
We have a part as shown in the figure attached. An internal fillet radius of 0,3 mm is machined (cutting tool). Nowadays we are able to inspect it using an internal resin mould and projecting it making use of an optical comparator. It is an old method that we have using until now. We have researched about other methods to inspect it and we found out that there is available in the market a LASER measurement system that perhaps could inspect the feature described (internal fillet radius). We are afraid of if using this new aid (LASER), we will be not able to inspect the radius because of the access difficulties. Do you know if there is some inconvenience using the LASER system to inspect a feature like the one described? Do you see some technical disadvantage in changing the optical method to the LASER method?
Thanks for any information
Regards
Roberto
