Null Tag, Error 630035

Null Tag, Error 630035

(OP)
Hello All,

I have come across a problem that appears to be with my part list in an assembly in NX 6.

When I try to update my part list or save my assembly file I receive the following message:

[Null tag not allowed

While updating the object of type Parts List in part DU100151779/A.]

I have tried to delete the parts list and re-create it but that did not fix the problem. I have also tried to restart NX and restart my computer with no luck.

Any help on this would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

RE: Null Tag, Error 630035

have you tried a partcleanup ?
File->utility->partclean up

partcleanup did not fix the issue

RE: Null Tag, Error 630035

Have you removed a component of your assembly that was in a reference set with part attributes? It was an obscure bug in older versions that may still be there.

You need to remove the component from the assembly reference set before removing the part from the assembly structure. There is some linking between the component attributes and the BOM at the assembly level that didn't get cleaned up if you just remove the component from the assembly.
