subject-verb agreement?
subject-verb agreement?
(OP)
More than likely there are dozens of threads that speak to subject-verb agreement. Here's today's example: "At least three of the projects shall be sites with similar ground conditions."
I'd type the whole paragraph to put this into context, but it's about contractor's experiences in installing drilled shafts.
A PROJECT CANNOT BE A SITE! I'd think the proper statement would be, "At least three of the projects shall be located within sites with similar ground conditions."
End of rant. . .

RE: subject-verb agreement?
Is anyone going to be confused by the original statement? Does adding additional words really make it clearer?

I'll try to find a better example next time, sigh. . .

Situations where it DOES make a real difference however and I'm right there with you. (Just don't get me started on people who write as though they are sending a text.)
I was having a more mellow day yesterday.

I've just given up when "healthy" is used incorrectly and "healthful" is rarely used (i.e., when it should be used). One's right though and one's wrong.
Yay me! I know the difference!
