High stress interface between dissimilar materials

Hello,
I am running a linear elastic analysis with temperature dependent properties in ANSYS WB 14 and my model consists of two different materials.
In my equivalent stress plot I get high stresses on the surface connecting the two dissimilar parts (pipe and manifold) due to the change in material stiffness.
Does anyone know of a way to alleviate this phenomenon?
I suppose in reality there should be a small amount of stress in the area but in my case the values are unrealistic.

In reality, you may have a weld dilution zone where the properties transition over finite length as opposed to zero length (which is what you modelled). If you think that these stresses are high due to delta-E effects, think what will happen with delta-alpha effects with temperature.
