1) Can anyone help me how can i craete a part family of a part having different densities? Also when open the child part it should open with the said density in spreadsheet.

2)How can i assign the density to a part & save it so that next time when i open this part i should get that part with the same.

Thanx jerry,i hv already tried this thread bt the problem i m facing is that when i apply material through Tool-->Material-->assign materials. The material is assigned & when i open the part family window n select the attributes then i see the Material to Add to column. But when i select density from that no density is shown to Add column.Even i tried as said in that thread by giving "NAME" attribute to the body but the density column is not appearing in spread sheet.

How can i get that density in my spreadsheet.I am getting Material in that sheet.

RE: Part family with Densities.

Verify that when selecting the body you have your selection filter set to Solid Body.
Also, being in the General tab from the properties instead of Attributes.
