Thin surface modelling

Thin surface modelling

Thin surface modelling

(OP)
Dear Friends
I am doing multi layer arterial modelling . The layer thickness is 2 micro meter 10 micro meter, 2 micrometer, 200 micro meter.

How do I model in ANSYS workbench for my 3D CFX simulations

Regards

Govind

RE: Thin surface modelling

You'll have to give some more details about your problem, assumptions, knowns, and unknowns before anyone can give you a meaningful response.

Thank you for your reply
I need to model a simple tube having total thickness 214 micrometer. The thickness is divided into 4 layers. the inner layer thickness starts with 2 micrometer , next layer 10 micrometer, next 2 micro meter and the outer layer should be 200 micro meter. Each layer has different properties which I have to assign in the CFX pre. I hope you understand the problem.

Govind

RE: Thin surface modelling

It sounds as though you have a geometry in mind. What are you trying to learn from the simulation? Since you've mentioned CFX, I assume it's a flow problem. Not being familiar with arterial modeling, I'm not sure of the significance of the various layers that you mentioned.
I'm much more familiar with ANSYS than CFX, but even if I can offer advice, it's difficult without a clearer understanding of the model. Your question seems directed at Ansys Workbench. What specific part of Workbench are you having difficulty with?
