Abaqus simple disk rotation

Abaqus simple disk rotation

Hello

Im trying to make a simulation which is based on a rotating disk, but stuck right at the begining. Made the part then placed it in an assembly (for further tasks), then assigned BC ensnare ZSYMM + added another BC an angular velocity where I created a Csys, but this does nothing to the part, unlike adding simple velocity which can move the part if the ensnare is changed to allow that. Attached the file for further details.

My real task would be to rotate the disk with a starting angular velocity while there is an extra rotational inertia attached to this disk (like if there were a theoretical rotating waight connected with the disk).

(Further details: After this issue is solved I'd add a brakeshoe on one side of the disk to the assembly and make a frictional braking simulation, but that is another case, hope I can deal with that since I had some advancements with that type of simulations.)

Ok nevermind this post, found the solution which I'd call tricky. In a few words all what was needed is a reference point coupled with the part, then add the BC t that point. Also at the coupling uncheck freedoms.
