I have to ensure a pump remains within 3mm/s.

Please can someone explain what 3mm / s signifies?

Hi John

I take it this is in connection with your earlier post on attaching a centrifugal pump on a steel frame?
The 3.5mm/s is the maximum velocity at which the pump can vibrate.
