St3 no alignment lines ?

(OP)
When i draw a square plate in sheet metal and select a hole to be placed on to the selected plate the hole just follows the cursor around the plate, why aren't the green alignment lines or cross hairs located through the cursor automatically turned on so I can dimensionally place the hole.? I am a complete novice so I thanks in advance.

RE: St3 no alignment lines ?

Hello,

You just need to do a click (MB1). The hole will be placed, then you will be able to apply the dimensions.

Regards,

Ben

Or you can press F3 when the plane highlights (or left-click on the lock icon on the plane).
