Wind Turbine Induction Generators 5 kw - 50 kw

(OP)
Hello,

I'm doing research on wind turbine induction generators and would like to know some of the common generator manufacturers for wind turbines, in the 5 kw - 50 kw range. Does anyone know of "off the shelf" generators that would work for a wind turbines in this range? Any help is appreciated.

Best Regards,

Jim

RE: Wind Turbine Induction Generators 5 kw - 50 kw

In that range many wind turbines use induction motors, suitably excited. So any induction motor manufacturer could be a supplier. But there's a fair bit of electronics to turn any generator into one suitable for a wind turbine, and any manufacturer is unlikely to just sell generators. They'll be tightly integrated with a wind turbine company.

Nicely stated by LiteYear.

Best to you,

Goober Dave
