Is Ozone being produced during corona treatment of PET films?

RE: Corona treatment

I have done some work on that. Ozone can be produced in some cases. I found ozone when using silicone electrodes on PVC. When we used ceramic electrodes we didn't find any.

All the best,

Chris

RE: Corona treatment

Looks like there's an ozone test available for $80 US. I made one for $3. Hoping to commercialize it one day.

RE: Corona treatment

Corona treatment does create ozone and nitrogen oxides, which are toxic and also have a fairly strong and distinct odor.
