ANSYS Mechanical APDL Launcher Error

ANSYS Mechanical APDL Launcher Error

ANSYS Mechanical APDL Launcher Error

(OP)
The Tcl command that was executed to submit your run failed with the following error:
Error: The directory name is invalid

the error above emerged when i deleted by mistake the path-folder of working directory. I ve tried to change the path but it doesnt work.If anyone can suggest something please let me know. Thanks!

RE: ANSYS Mechanical APDL Launcher Error

Not being an ANSYS user, here's three suggestions I can think of:
1) go into your computer and manually recreate the appropriate path folder of the working directory.
2) save your data on some type of external drive and then start over so that ANSYS recreates the appropriate path folder for you. Then reload your data into ANSYS.
3) call or e-mail ANSYS customer support. They might have more specific ideas if the above don't work.

Thanks energymix! Indeed, I recreated a folder with the same name & it worked.
