Reuse Library: How to change all screw instance

Reuse Library: How to change all screw instance

Reuse Library: How to change all screw instance

(OP)
When using Edit reusable component, the user interface is the same that when we place the screw
But
When using Replace Component we have to open the master part family an so the UI is not the same and is very bad

Am I wrong or is there another way to do this ?

I am using NX7.5.5.4

Thank in advance

If you post some images, we can understand what are for you reuse components, because I think you haven't configured well your RL.

Thank you...

Using NX 8 and TC9.1

RE: Reuse Library: How to change all screw instance

Didier, for what i know this is the way NX works in 7.5
As long as you replace within the same family, all works fine with a nice user interface, but if one wants to change from one family to another family, it's "Replace component" and you have to know the filename. ( Which isn't displayed in the reuse tab, one has to "start adding the one we want" to see the name, note the name, and exit out.)

Almost the same case if you try to replace multiple reusable components at the same time. ( i.e replace 12 identical bolts to a different type.)

I have no good answer on this case.

Tomas
