Isolating entities by colour.

Isolating entities by colour.

Isolating entities by colour.

(OP)
I'm sure I'm not the first to ask for something like this, but I get drawings in from suppliers who have no idea of layer and colour discipline. Before I print out a drawing in colour I need to change anything in say yellow, to something darker. This should be just a matter of changing the layer colour, however the offending text/lines are normally not coloured BYLAYER, so it takes a while to create some sort of order.

Is there any way to isolate all entities by their colour? If not, would there be more than just myself who would like DrafSight to look at adding this feature?

Tks - A.

Try SMARTSELECT.

Smartselect works - many thanks. Another question relating to this:-

A lot of the entities come in unusual colours. When I click on them the colours are BYBLOCK, is there any way to dig deeper and determine what the colour actually is (I need the correct colour when I go to SMARTSELECT it)?

Thanks in advance,

A.
